BMW Z4! (pic)

Get the wheels changed asap. It'll cost less than you think. There's plenty of people always selling good second hand sets of 108s or ellipsoids or 224s.

Just head over to z4-forum.com and we'll get you sorted out properly ;)

I usually don't share the same view as those who are obsessed with enormous alloys which in most cases do not suit the car, but in this case they hardly compliment it. Lovely looking car but I'd consider getting larger wheels. It reminds me of the bog standard rims on the current (now old shape i guess) SE 520d/i which are shocking and far too small for the car. It just doesn't look right mate :)

Multiple numbers suck. Go for a single number plate. Also take advantage of the fact that nobody really cares what letters you have, it either looks like a personal plate or it doesn't, and pick a random letter to start the letter section and give you loads more choice. Then have the last two letters personal to you.

I really like the Z4, its a very smart car at a tempting price.

However, in some colours with small wheels and without the Aerokit i must say i'm not a massive fan, it just somehow looks wrong.

Now although it has full service history this isn't enough for me. I'm the type of person that needs peace of mind. I'm looking to make a list of things i should do to it.
could even be worth changing the pas fluid and making sure the breather system is good and clear

other than that, take out the indicator bulbs if theyre still in there

brake fluid is a very good idea too

Guess it depends why you are buying it, to show off to your mates or complete the look of the car. It's a question only you can ask - I'm not advocating a random plate, just a random letter with your initials in there as well.

If your name is Bob Peaches Geldof then surely Y5 ABG is better than Y23 BPG?

Sure the A means nothing but then really neither does the Y or the 5. The number of 'meaningless' characters remains the same - 3 - but the total size of the plate is smaller. Think of it as swapping a meaningless number for a meaningless letter?

Personal choice at the end of the day, but double number plates just dont do it for me, especially as many were issued as standard numberplates anyway.
