Waste of time that for me, as ill be downing the full game tomorrow, not the demo :D

EDIT: Mind you thats a bit odd, releasing the demo same day as the game, unless the Steam version over here is Friday as well like the retail.

This game will unlock in approximately 1 day and 5 hours

What it says on steam for me i will be disappointed if its not working then, is unlock generally you can play the game or its ready to pre-load.
 
Took me some doing but finally managed to get it to work with Eyefinity. Stupid Dell monitor kept turning itself off!

There is a fair performance hit if you have everything on full with 2X AA (around 30 fps)

just started messing about with this, put gfx all way up at 1920x1200, seems to be quite nice fps until I hit some water :)

I'm still pretty bad at racing games, but stucx this in manual gears with my wheel, and managed 3.20 on my 2nd go.... just need to learn the track I guess and stop hitting things. I'll get good times soon :)
 
Looks like its not going to be pre-loadable =/ and also seems to be unlocking at 9pm London time, gah the servers will be bursting, there already bursting now, mirror's edge is downloading at 30k -.-
 
Sucks about the lack of pre-load, never mind though, I'm sure I'll be able to download it by the end of the week hah. Downloading Mirrors edge at 150Kb/s atm, will have to turn it off later though, sucks sharing a 1.2Mbps line with ~5 people lol.

wierd, i have never seen one of my steam games downloading at anything less than my max download speed
 
Benchmark says: 51.5 fps min, 61.5 fps avg

This game has a similar problem to Dirt for me. Stick it on those dune buggy truck things and the performance is laggy. It doesn't go lower than 40 fps in fraps but just seems to go into slow motion when lots of cars on the track. Could this be my core 2 duo struggling to keep up?
