OcUK Photo Comp - Season Eight : Round Eleven - "Autumn Colour" DISCUSSION

well one weekend left to put something together. But seeing as I'm going to the football tomorrow and leave at 6.30AM and getting home at 1AM there isn't much hope apart from poking my camera up against a bus window when the sun rises in the hope for some Autumn Colour.......been looking around and pretty much all the trees have no leaves left of them either so i might not make an entry this month :(

Redone mine.

As it was really misty, there was a shot I wanted in the valley over Helmsley way but when i got there it wasn't too bad.

Anyway, got this shot instead. :)

Wanted to get another car in but didn't really want to be ran over as it's a fairly busy road.

I saw the most awesome picture ever yesterday but as per usual i was flying past in the car with no camera . It would have been perfect for this competition as well.

It had been raining all day and there was a break in the rain and the clouds cleared and the sun came out. Then i saw a tree full of yellow leaves with the sun lighting it up and a rainbow that ended behind the tree. Like a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow lol.

I would have pulled onto the hard shoulder if i had my camera with me it would have been such a good picture :p.

I've been out quite a few times this month to try to capture something good although "Autumn Colour" was definitely last month here. I almost considered entering the image below as this has captured what this month has been like here although I can already picture the crit and theme relevance remarks.LOL Think I'll hold out for next month's comp. Not having a dig at the theme though, Mr Squirell, just the way the month has transpired for the most part here. ;)

Good luck to all this month. Some stunning entries in there. :)

I give you Autumn Colour, as seen from my window.LOL

Cheers, Phate. :D

I was actually poised at the window, sneakily, waiting for someone to get soaked by a passing bus but I was limited by my rubbish lens and the bad iso handling of my camera. Couldn't really get close enough or a fast enough shutter speed to freeze the resulting arc of dirty water and ensuing reaction from unsuspecting passers by. Shame.Haha!

I don't think I'll get anything in either. Hopefully i wont have to venture out into the cold for next months :p.
