hi all me and my faimly are thinking of going abroad next year with our 4yr old son, does anyone know of a really good place to take a 4 yr old,was thinking of disney land florida but the prices seem shocking for what you get, would like it to be warm but not to hot and plenty to do for our son and for us as well, looking at two weeks all inclusive and the price has to be reasonable and not going to break the bank if possiable so any suggestions of places recommendtions ect.

have you thought about somewhere closer like Fuerteventura / Gran Canaria etc. I know you said you wanted all inc. but you could get a villa deal for your family , just means you woul dhave to do some cooking / buying some stuff from local supermarket but would deffinately not break bank. If you get a decent villa it iwll have its own pool etc and maids that come and clean the gaf up for you also

will have a look at those places has anyone actaully been to a decent resort from the above places that they could give some feedback on,places they have took there faimly really would prefer all inclusive, not one for cooking whilst on me hols,i have been to places like rhodes, lanzarote and greece.but now my son is here and four years have passed i need a nice holiday for us all.

I went to Cuba that seemed great for the families (was only with the lass but there were a lot of families there) though the 9 hour flight may put many off

We've got a family villa in Florida about 5 minutes from Disney and trust me, you could get a villa for very cheap at the minute for a week or two and just buy most of your food from the nearby supermarkets, it's what we used to do. Spend a few days in the villa by the pool, do some other relatively cheap activities (there is a lot to do there, especially with a kid) and it shouldn't be THAT expensive.

I'm another vote here for Florida, me and the misses went for 2 weeks last year and it was seriously the hol of a life time.

it is expensive to book/stay/flights/activities but looking back it was worth every penny.

I've just retured from a 2 week trip to Florida. Our base was at Orlando but we also drove down to Miami and Key West.

The parks in Orlando are expensive but they are much better than anything in the UK.
A 1 day adult ticket to Magic Kingdom currently costs about $80, so about £50 once you’ve done the conversion.

If you go in April-June or September-November then you’ll miss 95% of the rain, the humidity is around 50% and the temps are about 72-78 degrees – so very nice.
Driving is easy; the roads are wide and there are no roundabouts. All of the cars are automatics so just press and go :)

It was our second visit to Florida and we had an awesome time – I highly recommend it !!
