**The Dragon Age Origins Thread **

Without me trawling through all of this thread, what's the general consensus on this game? I love a good RPG and I've been away from PC gaming for ages so I haven't really heard much about this one.

Cheers

Everyone here hates it. The consensus is Halo 4's better as you can triple wield pistols as the Master Chef.

Well it has enough replay value for it ><

And its just dawned on me who the Tranquil remind me of. Its Mathazar from Galaxy Quest.

While I’ve not completed the game more then once, I’ve replayed sections already. Got a warrior to lvl 16, 30 hours played before switching to an elf mage. Which I just completed it on. I’ve done every origin story and abused the save/reload thing to see how different dialogue options play out.

No. You get to the top of the tower, where a small goblin is waiting with a brass plaque congratulating you on getting there. Really.

All i can say is... your loss.

Just started a new game with nightmare difficulty. May the maker help me... :p

Hehe, going by the DA network site, Nightmare isn't that hard for the most part once you've got the general strategy down. Either way i'm playing through on Hard atm, so good luck :D

Im playing it on nightmare first time round. I just got the game about 2 hours ago. and i have played the first bit as a elf rogue. Got to the wedding when the humans wreck it lol. I must admit im really getting into the game. I think i am going to enjoy this.

Top game, and if you have a search, one well known online gameshop is now doing it for £14.99. Bargain.

^^Currently out of stock but I'll check again maybe next week. For someone like myself who is interested in the idea of rpg's but fussy (unless they're first person) maybe £15 is still worth a gamble.

I'd say it's worth a gamble myself, but I'm much more a fan of 3rd person - I played morrowind through in 3rd person before I really realised how much better it was in 1st, but only because I wasn't used to 1st person RPGs then. If you gamble on it, be warned: it's like marmite, only biased toward 'love it'.
