*** Official Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Thread ***

I think every one of my classes has a stinger as secondary, and 9 times out of 10 it is me shooting down air support. Though I don't bother quite so much in FFA.

thats a criticism aimed at the players not the game though.

Its a bit like complaining the games wrong because you end up on a server where everybody chooses the sniper class and just sits and does nothing.

Nothing wrong with the game, just the players.

9 times out of 10 i play with friends in a party from my friends list. The other 1 time out of 10 i dont, i just hop anto another server when i end up on one full of noobs that dont play the game properly.

Just staring out with the ACR myself having mastered the M4, Famas, Scar, TAR and M16. Fav so far the M4 although the iron sights are annoying, then the scar, would be perfect if it had more ammo.

Leat Fav the TAR or M16 if you get a slightly laggy game.

Oh ok mate just thought FMJ with Stopping power with its accuracy on top would take some real beating.
I must say for all the arguments here I am hugely impressed with it online.......it took a while to get used to it as most things do but thoroughly enjoying it now. Great game with your mates what more can ya say!!
Wasteland bugs me with the snipers sometimes but dont mind the Guys running around with Akimbo shotguns..........even if they do pound me it just makes me more determined to take them out though it doesnt always work out that way!! The riot shield guys also take a lot of beating but thats what it is all about!!
Best bit about it: after matches seeing most kills on same player on that particular game....it would pie me off so i know it is bugging them!!
 
Model 18 shotgun is way overpowered, you can one shot someone half way accross the map with them. I still prefer the ACR though, almost no recoil and a nice fire rate and mag capacity it's a beast of a gun.
 
I seem to be the only person carrying a stinger, so I feel your pain.

...that is until I jump on with rp2000 and the gang. A much better experience if there's a few mates to help out :)

When are you going to man up and join one of our games? I know your a camping beehatch as is obvious by your stats on this game. :p

I have a near foolproof method of taking out riot shields. I always carry claymores. Let one of them walk at you then plant a claymore it knocks him back and you can either shoot him of knife him.

Same here, most matches I'm the only one - not that I mind shooting stuff down but when there's an AC-130 up and I'm the only one with a stinger I need to fire both then die before taking it down.

Semtex works well on the shields too, and it is also quite funny :)
 
I leave it to wyrdo. He's a better shot at taking out air units ;) I also struggle when he's not playing as there is no one to shoot them down ;)
 
I just got nuked twice two FFA games on the trot by the same guy. He never called in a single streak either until the nukes. Once on wasteland once on sub base. kempy1990 was his GT and he never died at all on waste land and only once on sub base.
 
Well that'll teach me to have Emergency Air as a kill streak. This time I managed to successfully have each package within reach on Quarry, but my greedy ******* team-mates turned their backs on the enemy and perhaps out of revenge I got shot although I was further away than the guy who turned his back on the enemy.

I lost all four packages to at least 3 so called team-mates :mad:.

I'm sure you can see why one would assume that you're younger, when you have to wait till Chistmas till you can play as one would assume most adults would just buy one and not have to wait to recieve as a present ;)

Thinking that myself yesterday actually but afraid i wouldnt be up to the higher standards..................i dont want to be the person that everyone thinks' NOT HIM AGAIN'!

Theremaybe some loose pegs hanging about my unit but i aint a full blown day out at yarmouth camper.............................yet!!!

Will try the claymore thing though cheers!!

Anyway I have too many games to play now (Forza 3, Uncharted, Fifa 10, Killzone 2) so I thought I can wait for MW2.
