Hi all.

Curious after having a argument with a friend at sixth form.... do you people have your jam on toast with marg or butter, or without?

I have it without and see it as a little bit wierd to put butter under another spread-like substance!

Want to settle this, so help me out OcUK. :D

Toast + butter = great success.

Jam is acceptable but never as an addition to the butter. Instead, it should be kept separate from any other toast accessories. Much like parents who keep their ginger child locked in the basement away from their other, better children.

Hope this helps!

Toast needs butter. It's all dry and crunchy otherwise! Doesn't matter what else goes on toast as long as it tastes nice and the toast i9s buttered.

I didn't even realize people ate jam on toast without butter.

The only things I don't use butter with are peanut butter, marmite, chocolate spreads etc.
