Medal Of Honor will make its video debut at the Spike TV VGAs on December 12 and hit the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC next year. Until then, the game's official web site should keep you busy.

:)

Ill definitely be keeping an eye on this, about time the moh series was brought into more modern times. With dice handling the multiplayer side of things it should definitely be interesting.

well, if they take the good from MW2 and give us back all the stuff that Infinity Ward shafted us over like proper matchmaking/servers etc.. then i am hopefull... oh wait its EA...

Do you think this means fewer ww2 games now that moh and cod have gone modern?
I think this could be possible, ww2 has been done so many times now, albeit ive enjoyed both the early cod games and the moh series, particularly allied assault. I think games set in modern times can offer far more variation in areas such as weaponry and location.

i would prefer alternate reality tbh.

a world without nukes, so the cold war turned hot etc and there's just been a massive conventional ww3.

You could play in the desert in the mountains at sea and in Europe and America.

Would be much better than limiting yourself to "random middle eastern county against people in turbans and dirty shirts"

Let us fight a better equipped enemy like we did in ww2 games.

Most Authentic War Experience? So they are making military simulator like ARMA? I really want to slap their PR people.

I'd quite like it if we moved away from WW2 for a few years but go back in say 2012/2013 when games technology is massively improved and we can get that truly stunning impact again that MOHAA gave us years ago...

A beach assault level with hundreds of NPCs and whatever awesome visual techniques have been developed by then. Could be an astounding experience.

Im still amazed by that sequence even to this day, as you say if something like this was done on a larger scale it would be awesome.

Looks very interesting this.

People here were saying just the other day that a remake of this would be a very good idea.

I'd love to see a modern versio ntbh.

blasting in on those huge armoured hovercraft and amphibious APcs being met by heavy artillery and anti tank fire, while naval guns and missiles fly into the enemy.

Running up though the automatic grenade launcher and 20mm explosive air bust machine-guns, hiding behind Apc/light tanks then running for more cover and newly formed shell holes (some sort of terrain deformation a necessity for such a landing) would be amazing.

It was almost guarenteed to happen :D I'm looking forward to seeing some previews - hopefully lots of info will be spread over the Spike Awards :D

Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

Medal of honor is ww2 only for me, mohaa and expansions only. Damn another series ruined tho they first ruined it after mohaa last expansion. Bet they ruin the feel of the mohaa as well, nice fast paced small area action.

Well Im mainly into the mp side of gaming, so I was about to dismiss this game after the abomination that was mohaa: airbourne mp, then I noticed dice were doing the mp side of things, so Ill keep my eyes on this.

I hope they make a better job of this than Airborne and Pacific Assault - they were truly poor games. :(

indeed. I'm not holdign my breath for this one.

Mohaa/breakthrough is still one of the best multiplater games ever made. Still play is sometimes, along with COD2
