Castle. Coming to the UK when?

Hi, I'm not a massive poster in this part of the forum usually, but I was wondering if anyone had any information that could help me.

Apologies if this has already been asked in another thread that I've missed (I did search, honest!).

Does anyone know if we're getting a UK broadcast of the US TV series Castle at any point?

I wouldn't mind watching it, but I haven't found anything regarding whether or not it's coming to the UK at any point, either on TV or DVD.

Does anyone know if it's coming at any point? Or is it better to just look at importing the Region 1 DVD?

I've been wondering this, I've heard it's absolutely superb. They also did a Halloween special recently where Nathan Fillion dressed up as Mal again

So glad to see Nathan getting a successful show, he really deserves it.

Seems odd the Uk has not got this, was over in Asia last month and they have it!

I think most syndication networks were surprised it wasn't canceled. Season one was running for only two months as a slot filler, ratings were relatively poor and there is currently overload of procedural police dramas on US networks as is. I think the fact it returned for a full season from September took everyone by surprise and it will take couple more months before UK networks wake up to bidding for it.

I never heard anything about it being cancelled :confused:

It averaged just over 10m for Series 1 which is pretty high.

Well you'd have to ask the mods about that one, technically still against the rules. Not sure what the rules are regarding importing DVD's

I hope we get a region 2 DVD release at some point
