Viva - Slips

Seen the American version (pinks i think it was called), that wasn't to bad, but none of the cars were even so had to agree on terms i.e no NOS, 10m head start etc. Sort of took it away as if you negotiated good terms you had a big upper hands!
 
This came up on the 306 forums when the first episode when live online, as one of the first cars was a nail of a 306 - it didnt take long to spot this mess up in one of the "super high speed racing" clips

It seems that while upshifting(and yes, it was upshifting?) into a corner, the car was also immobilised ?
 
Am I the only person who clicked on this thread thinking someone was having problems with a 40 year old Vauxhall failing to gain traction?
 
I watched this once. The people on it are the sort that'd race you at the traffic lights in their heap of junk, and they think they can corner like Colin Mcrae. It really is a dire program.
