Nice, thanks for uploading the pics mate. Might just get it and sell my copy of Bioshock on. Are there many add-ons to Oblivion, so would it be better to get this version or a GOTY version?

Can't say this was €6.49 well spent.

I am a few hours into Oblivion and well.... it's very dull. It surely gets better, but I don't hold out much hope for the combat system which just seems to be a case of hit>run>hit>run>heal while running>hit>heal>run>heal.... repeat for every mob.

Bioshock seems like a proper game, but it's a shame that the PC version was programmed by morons. First I had sound problems right at the start(thought it was for atmosphere during the intro...), which was an easy fix. After a few hours the game decided that it didn't like 1920*1200 so it decide to run at 1024*768 windows mode. Any attempt to change it back resulted in the game freezing. Changes to the default.ini file fixed that, but I was still getting the odd crash- which I could live with. However after one of the crashes the sound went and I haven't been able to get it back!

PC gaming at it's best :p

Could be worse. Imagine if those issues had popped up on the console versions! I've not run across too many people with the resolution issue, maybe you're just unlucky?

Oblivion is an adventure game with some RPG elements, and not a hack'n'slash. If you were expecting combos and finishing moves, you bought the wrong game. Personally I think the combat system works exactly as it should: you control it, but your chances of success are down to the development of your character, not to your reflexes. The whole point of RPGs.

Nah, it's a problem with widescreen mode.

I need patch 1.1 to fix the resolution problem, but patch 1.1 produces the sound problem! I can't believe that this PoS was voted GoTY, it shouldn't even have been released on PC format let alone be consider a great game given the HUGE amount of bugs that are in it.

I have been playing adventure/RPG games for 15 years- I know what to expect. I did a quick search, and there is a lot of people out there that quit the game very early on. But as I said above I am sure the game improves, as there is no way that the current gameplay warrents anything like the reviews that it received. Right now it's no better than a 4/10 game(On an EDGE scale!)
