Vodaphone took two payments

I bought a 3g dongle from a Vodaphone shop the other day. When I checked my bank statement, it showed 2 x £35 payments sent out instead of just one. So I took my bank statement and showed it to them in the shop. The guy said the manager wasn't there so can he take a photocopy. I blanked out my account number and sort code just in case. My payment was by credit card anyway.

He phoned today and said I have to go in there to get a refund back onto my card. But that involves another trip there which I don't want to do.

Do I really have to go in there? Any other solutions to me?

Just go in the shop the next time you're in town, don't make a specific trip. It wont be a problem I wouldn't have thought.

Oh sweet jesus, do you guys just scour the web looking for stuff like this?

Epic.

Here Ben Vodafone, I need to talk to someone about getting refunded for my bills for a few months, I have a valid reason and was told to contact someone but as yet have not done so. Reading between the lines can you give me a suitable link to the department I should talk to?

If it's a DD made in error by Voda, is's covered by teh DD guarantee and should be that simple.

No, it's not an error on their part, or mine. I've been told by the police I can claim for half of a year of having to pay for an unused contract if that makes it clearer... I don't want to go into details though, and I didn't contact the police about it, sorry for talking in riddles.

Some of us have been trolling here for years!

Although I do it for fun when not at work, damn... I could be claiming overtime for this.

love it... people complain if they don't get good customer service and still moan when a company makes an effort lol... from my experiences vodafone web team are pretty good at getting things sorted.
