Nope, it doesnt matter. It wont work if the previous owner is logged in with that cd key or they had Hax0rs.

Yea just did a bit of digging, if the owner hands over the acc and if you wish to reset all the unlocks etc you can but theres no guartantee he wasnt banned for cheating

CD key gets bound to an EA account, so if he's used it you can't play.

Quick google shows you can get a new one for £7.99

If you know whi ur buying it off then you may be ok but if not you run a risk, same as any other online game really.

Is this new? I've played using my mate's CD key and my account on my machine when I lost my disk.

Even if it's bound to an EA profile/EA downloader profile, if your mate has any problems he can contact EA support and get them to deactivate the serial from your account.

I have personal experience of them doing this when I ended up with two copies of Burnout Paradise. They deactivated one from my account, added it to a different account I asked them to and even generated a new (third) serial to do this.

All in all, if your mate experiences any problems he should be fine if he takes the time to ask EA support for help.
