You hurt me when I asked if I should "quad exhaust" my 530d with non M5 products. I've managed to recover from the brutal tongue lashings and come, humbly, asking for your advice once more.

I would like some M5 mirrors. Can I Haz?

The only thing I have against M5 mirrors is the outrageous cost. If you like them, fit them. Fitting bits from higher trim level models is one of the more effective ways of modifying a car.

As long as you stop short of anything with M5 written on it why not?

Do you not need to ask the cars owner first though?

Thank you for your recent request to fit M5 mirrors to your 530d. As you are aware, OCUK motors works hard to provide useful opinions and strive for excellence in every post. Your suggestion has been considered on the merits within and given much thought. However, we find ourselves unable to approve your request due to the fiscal and chav-etic implications of installing said mirrors on said car.

Whilst we appreciate this may not have been the answer you were lookng for, it is our final decision. If you have any further comments on this idea, please feel free to keep them to yourself.
