Any publicity is good publicity. The majority of deadheads who hear about it will more than likely still go out and buy the X-Factor crap, regardless of the type of publicity.
Short of Simon Cowell gettings banged up for touching little boys I doubt any stunts like this will make a blind bit of difference.
