Looking for a great set of earphones.

Currently trying out some Bose inear headphones with silicon gel that are compatible with the iphone. As comfy and great as they are they aren't the loudest. They do cost £99 though.

Also..
I dunno if I have just made this up or wether such a device works but if you push your inearphones into your ear with a little pressure you get great base... Yes you all know that.. Do any brands make earphones that uses an optional metal bridge of some discription that you can adjust to pull the ear phones into your ears??

I really like the goldring gx200s, they can be picked up for about £20 online.

Can't really compare them to other earphones except to say they are much better than stock ones.

head over to headfi forums and spend a bit of time in the portable in ear section and you will find what you are looking for.

The 'loudness' of a earphone is generally more affected by the amplification its given i.e. the iphone. Granted some buds are easier to drive then others. If its volume you want then you need some easy to drive earphones or a headphone amplifier.

Think of the Iphone as the engine and the headphone as the car chasis ;)

Personally i actually like the Bose IE comfort wise.

Look at Shure IE headphones very well regarded in the industry.

FutureSonics Atrio M5/M8/M3 (just different colours).

Truely awesome bass responce without overshadowing the rest of the music :) A smidge under £100.
