4.00gigabyte (3.19 usable) whats up with my ram???

I cant figure out why suddenly win7 is telling me only 3.19 of the 4 gig it knows is in there... is usable??? any clues?

64bit. for the last two months. this has happened today hence my confusion...

**hmmm.... just went poking in bios, foud a feature called remap memory above PCI. enabled it, problem solved. given I havent touched that setting, god only knows how it got turned off... :/

BIOS update perhaps?

you lucky lol i got 2.99 useable when i first started windows 7. I had 32bit. Now i have 64 bit and i set up page file. Worked fine after.
