dirt 2 benchmarks dx9 vs dx 11

Was 2 hours for me but now slowed down and will be 3 hours :(

Looks like I'll be playing this tomorrow, not staying up for it. :(
 
omg! over 3MBps and im downloading this at 50kBps :S this is gonna take forever!! yet another week till i can play this ******* game, it better be good....
 
Change your country i put mine on us newyork and now getting 2.3mb/s where as uk i was hitting 1.2mb/s max.
 
mines still on 24% , been downloading for 2 hours . mind you i am using a crappy t-mobile mobile broadband dongle with a supposed 7.2mb/s conection , its more like a 2mb connection on a bad day tbh lol

just finished. I was a little late starting didnt think it was avaliable till 1am, still got a steady 3 - 4.5 MB/s tho not too shabby for steam.
 
Its official, Dirt 2 sucks.

well the codeing sucks lol, the game on the first race for me, FREEZED.
then the gameing resumed 15 seconds later and my frames halfed lol

quit to desktop to see if my graphics card driver recovered and it didnt so its not a graphics card issue.

i think the game has a flaw.
 
what connection do you guyss use to get 3+ mb/s

i left mine overnight woke up and still only on 89% 763kb/s atm must have been slower overnight
 
yeah applyed the hotfix drivers.

i think it could be a 5870 Xfire Issue.

my overclock cant be unstable becuse i got no driver recovered or voltage decreeses due to driver reset so the freeze must be something else..

lasted 20 seconds or sommit then resumed but the graphics card reduced its clock speed for some reason lol
 
one other thing, is dirt 2 useing dx11 or just dx9 at the minute cause i couldnt select a option to enabled dx11 unless it works out of the box useing card detection lol
 
I haven't had any issues with the 5970 and the hotfix drivers, so you may want to double check your setup. Hopefully we'll get some better drivers from ATi soon anyway.
