Hi guys, looking for a 32" TV for the bedroom, but because im mounting it on a plasterboard internal wall im looking at not going any heavier than 10-12kg at a push. And also needs to be as close to the wall as possible.

So what you recommend guys? Budget is about £750, though the cheaper the better.

Thanks

Dean

Any Sharp or Sammy 32" is now well below £750. Cheapest (LED) I just saw is the Sharp 600E for just over £500. Unless you're a super enthusiast that would agonise over quality if you move your head 2.56 degrees and in your mind the screen suddenly goes black and unviewable, any would do. I saw the Sharp's and Sammy's and it's stunning TV's .. from any angle :)

Honestly how important is the depth and weight?

You can get perfectly good LCD tvs (32) around £300-400, is paying double really worth those minor features:confused:

If a heavy TV will pull the wall down, then fairly important...

If someone is this concerened then they shouldn't be mounting a tv on the wall unless they know what they are doing.

Echo James' point above, plasterboard is not what you want to be mounting on, and screwing into the struts behind would be the minimum to consider.

I just bought a Samsung LCD 32" for the bedroom (Model LE32B450C)

Realy good set. Decent inputs (3 x HDMI) £350

Its a new house and i think 10-12kg is fine to mount on a plasterboard wall. Reason i set budget at £750 was due to the LED, but i think a normal LCD will be ok to be honest. Just what to pick is the problem as there are so many out there now :)
