Hey OcUK,

I was just wondering, as my Packard Bell standard mouse has crapped out, are there any good but not expensive gamer mice, that are suited to left handers, or, just for right and left to use.

(I know being left handed is a curse....)

Thanks,

Silenced

Hey dude,

I'm a lefty and use a Logitech G7 for my MacBook Pro (Win7 Gaming) and for my main desktop, a Razer DeathAdder. Yes, there is a redundant button, but the ergonomics are perfect for me.

I'm not so much looking for a gamer gamer mouse, just a nice mouse that is good. Since mine is dying, although I'd like a gamer mouse.

Bit basic but the MS Wheel Mouse Optical 1.1a is ambidextrous and one of the top rated sensors for gaming purposes.

Copperhead or Deathadder if you want a gaming mouse thats ambi, I am also left handed. or have a look at the Steelseries Kinzu, although it has no mouse4 or mouse5

The deathadders not ambi is it  atleast mines not anyways, but yeh the copperhead is a good choice for gaming, if you're not gaming then any of the standard logitech optical mice will suffice :)

+1 on the copperhead, looking to change mine now as after around 3/4 years the middle mouse is doubleclicking. Perhaps it needs a clean out, but served me well and suits my raised/arching grip on the mouse. Only problem I felt was the rubber rails on the side digging into my fingers/thumb which can be shaved down i suppose or look at the diamondback or lachesis as mentioned.

This thread caught my attention, do you left handed folks use the mouse in your left hand??

The reason I ask is because I'm also left handed, but I dont have any issues using my right hand to control the mouse, it actually feels unatural to me if I try controlling the mouse with my left hand.

You're a fake then ;)

True lefty here - left handed ESP Guitar, write (craply) left-handed, play footy left footed, shoot firearms left-eyed and er... change gear faster than a righty!

A fake?! :P

I play guitar also, but I learnt to play right handed, as I personally think left handed guitars look strange!!!

I seem to do a few things right handed.

To the lefties, this is random and my girlfriend thinks its weird what way I do it, but which hand would you eat a packet of crisps with? like you'd hold them in your x hand, and eat them with your x hand?

I hold a gun left handed, play football left footed, and use a knife and fork very awkwardly :P
