Sup everyone,

Is anyone experiencing slow internet with safari? i on leopard but it seems to be running really slow loading up web pages. Im with Virgin got a 20mb connection. When i run a speed test i get about 16/17mb download speed from the test.

Is there any tweaks or anything to speed it up?

Thanks :D

Safari is the fastest browser on a Mac, so I don't see why it should be slow. Are you experiencing the same problems with Firefox?

firefox is slightly quicker id say.... got a linksys router too... systems a little slow too got 2gb ram. is there anything i can do to speed it up?

Get Webkit!

Then it's the faster than lightning!

I've been using webkit for the past couple of years. It's great!

Change your Virgin DNS settings to the new Google DNS.

Primary: 8.8.8.8
Secondary: 8.8.4.4

A lot of people in the network subforum are reporting an improvement. I use them myself and it's a lot faster when loading pages (ADSL 2MB).
