What are peoples views on this bike for £529.99 from Halfords? Anything better at this price?

Looks fairly good for the money.

Thats a review of the older one(2007) which has quite crappy wheels and tora forks. The new one is http://www.maxbimmer.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=79986&stc=1&d=12195972 51 which I would say is a nice upgrade. Has mavic rims,a suntour fork which is actually rather nice and avid brakes. It also has smoothed off welds and actullay looks like a nice piece of kit compared to the older ones.
