My passenger side headlight seems to have condensation building up within the unit. This causes the beam to be uneven and therefore failed the MOT.
I had a look at the unit and it was sealed but there must be a way for the water to creep in to the unit. I tried removing the bulbs and poking a small cloth inside but couldn't dry up all the condensation. My other plan is to blast a hair dryer through the holes where the bulbs are.
Either way, I need some kind of fix which will serve me into the MOT retest on Saturday. I will remove the headlight from the car over night, but need to make sure that the condensation doesn't build up during the 30 min journey to the test centre.
Are there any other tricks for removing the condensation? Surely this must be relatively common in this weather.
