Quiz / family games for either Wii or PS3?

Looking for family quiz type game for Xmas day on either Wii or PS3 - any suggestions? Dont want any music / dance type games though.

You can get Trivial Pursuit, although I've no idea how good it is.
Buzz is definitely great fun though.

Yep, lets you take pictures at certain points, it's fun sticking the glowing controllers up your t-shirt and pretending you have glowing nipples

I looked at Buzz but its sold out everywhere.

Edit - can you play without the buzzers?

I have no idea I'm afraid. I've only played it at a mates with the buzzers. I don't see why it couldn't be played with 4 controllers but I'd wait for an owner to confirm that.

I looked into it a while back and the buzzers are not optional.
You can however use the old PS2 wired ones.

Yep you can use the old PS2 buzzers which are dirt cheap online (up to 8 players).

Make sure you get the latest Buzz (Quizz World) as it's much better than the original one

If there's a computer exchange nearby then you'll be able to pick some PS2 ones up 2nd hand for next to nothing.

There is also the new scene it game out for the PS3 that uses the buzz buzzers. One of the best things about Buzz is that there are thousands of user questions available to use for free.

So will the "Buzz! Buzzers: 4 Pack £4.99" on play for PS2 work with "Buzz! Quiz World" for PS3? I might actually get this for some joyous festivities.
