My brother actually went to one as a suicide bomber. He went out and bought a Shemargh and Dishdasha, sandals and a fake beard from a fancy dress shop. He then bought a replica Chinese made AK-47 chest rig with the mag pouches, and fashioned a detonator from some wiring and a guarded trigger switch from work,then constructed the bomb from old kitchen roll tubes wrapped in red insulation tape, which he then put in and attached to the mag pouches on the chest rig.

Oh dear.

My brother went to one where the girl hosting it was dressed as Princess Di. Wearing a dress, tiara etc etc but wearing a sash that had 'Princess DiED'. The E and D being written in fake blood.

If you want an excuse to wear a dress and wig do the above.

I thought I'd also add in a costume which I made for Halloween this year, that was ultimately discarded because it was considered to be too high brow for a night club. It might not be exactly what you are looking for, but still, I thought some of you might find it amusing...
