I want to get the girlfriend a really nice slippers and a dressing gown for Christmas.

Her current slippers with teddy bears on them are falling apart but despite my google attempts, I am yet to find anything similar that isn't really cheap and tacky.

Also can anyone recommend somewhere to buy a dressing gown that isn't M&S or debenhams?

Thanks

I'm struggling to find some slippers for my mum, only place I can think of round here is Bentalls, (similar to Debenhams) but try shoe shops for slippers, Clarks, Shoe Zone etc,

Dressing gown however, no idea really, tesco? supermarkets with clothes sections would be my best guess

Was hoping for something with a bit more quality that the supermarket for the dressing gown.

sadly the only places I know that would do dressing gowns/slippers, would be either dept stores, debenhams etc, or cheap crappy places like tesco and bargain stores :/

Could try boots/superdrug for slippers? and if you've got a homeware store nearby, somewhere that does bedsheets/towels etc, try your luck there?

Do you not have a Barkers near you?

Failing that the usual woman's shops usually have them. I got my wife's from NEXT last year.

ColdAsIce on a side note - you could do what i did, buy her the purple Guano Apes t-shirt from their NEW shop :) she can wear that to bed.

La senza do housecoats and jammies. As do New Look. They've got really nice Blue Nosed Bears/ Tatty Teddy jim jams, housecoats and slippers in if that would be suitable?
Not sure about the one on Prince's st but the one at Ocean Terminal has a really good selection.

Oh god, did you actually buy that? lol I wanted to get some official merchandise but the postage costs to the UK were about the price of the t-shirt, if I remember right. Also there was a topic on the fan forum laughing at how bad the purple one was ;D

Just eager awaiting a UK TOUR ;) to buy Tickets.

I would immediatly recommed M&S because their adult dressing gowns are great, however if you want somthing a bit more special then hows about The White Company.
