Correction - it is largely a discussion about one particular style of UGGs - the slipper boot type that has many knock-off versions being sold in the high street.

Majority of people posting do not realise that UGG make various styles, some of which are decent looking items of foot fashion.

You posted a picture of Ugg boots which you said look good, I said they look like wellies. How, exactly is that not relevant to the discussion?

And, if it's only about a certain version then your post was even less relevant. Enjoy your expensive wellies.
 
lol, they don't look anything like wellies.
When was the last time you bought a pair of wellies with buckles & buttons on them and made out of anything except rigid plastic/rubber :confused::confused:
 
My sister inlaw has got some for her boy friend who is a 6`8" rugby player. This still wont put me off taking the mick for wearing ladies boots.

Personally I think they look stupid on women (apart from some of those pictures above ;) )

And yes those Ugg boots do look like wellies. Very expensive wellies mind you. And wellies dont exactly look great do they :D

Except having a very lose resemblance to the shape (which considering they are BOOTS! and ALL boots funnily enough have a similar shape :rolleyes: )
I cannot see the resemblance, completely different material and detailing!
If you have wellies that look like any of the uggs I posted then you sir have some really funky wellies!

My post was to explain that the UGG brand does not consist of purely one style of boot, therefore it was relevant. You might as well have just written "Those boots are black".

Also, the boots aren't mine.

Forget it. I was referring to the 'coollooking wellies' actually being uggs as they clearly look like wellies (but probably a bit cooler). Nevermind.

In summary Uggs look like posh wellies.
