If you were to describe ugg boots to someone who had never seen them I think it would be fair to say you could say they were "LIKE" suade wellies. So they do resemble wellies.

Personally anything suade seems very feminine as its a material that you cant get dirty or wet. Its like..."Ooooo a puddle must avoid that or I will ruin my suade wellies...I mean manly ugg boots"

Men should just not wear them. Thats just my humble christmas thoughts though. :D

I actually think Ugg boots can look pretty hot, on a decent looking girl in a short skirt with nice long legs.
Otherwise they're just silly fluffy wellies!
 
My wife bought some when we were in Australia, she says they are very comfy but has only worn them twice due to being worried about them getting wet.

The irony is we had a pipe burst a couple of weeks ago and one of them got soaked :/
 
I don't mind uggs, they don't look bad imo...


What trend I do hate, is the skirt trend these days, where girls wear a skirt ON TOP of some jeans or whatever... Either wear just a short skirt or just some jeans, not both at once :mad: !
Either let me look at your arse while wearing tight jeans or see your undies/nothing under your skirt, but do not disappoint me with jeans under a skirt :(.

I find it a shame that low rise tight jeans aren't as popular as they were about 4 years ago, I loved staring at girls arses in low tight jeans :).

Girlfriend just caved into buying a pair of these (she thought they looked stupid the same way I did). Her reason is that they are really really warm and comfortable and necessary to survive even her first week of Cleveland's winter!

Still, I get to take the mick, which is great!

I'd rather tuck my balls between my legs and wear a handbag than ever become involved with a girl with Ugglies. Thank Christ my GF hates them.

I love it when you see the middle aged trash with cash trying them on in stores, it's comical. I do feel sorry for the poor weak minded buggers that get bullied into buying them for their 14 year old daughters, though.

Are they for summer or winter? It appears the sheep-like ladies just can't decide.

For 160 odd quid, I'd at least expect them to be winter proof.

HUNTERS - WTF!? Now I understand that some UGG boots look good onesome people, some don't, but HUNTER wellies!? The GF absolutely insisted on these for a festival. When I barked that theyre £50+ for some wellies that you could get for £10 from some gardening centre she replied "but theyre hunters theyre good!" ...Theyre wellies, they keep mud off your feet, they keep you dry. £10 or £50 they are EXACTLY the same. I lost the plot when she bought them for just one festival. Saw the pics of 100's of other morons with rip off welllies on to. Talk about slapping a label on something then over charging people.
