***Official DJ Hero Thread***

Bought the PS3 version for my wife yesterday (birthday today) and she enjoys it. Doesn't seem to sync the controller right every time (took 3 restarts as it behaved a bit weird in-game). Didn't realise you could play with GH controllers alongside the deck. I've got the Wii versions of GH so I don't know whether to take it back and get Wii DJH instead. Are the guitar elements any good?
 
So guys is this worth getting - tempted myself, though a lot of money for what I gather is a short experience?!?

It's now down to £65 on Gameplay, so not as much as it was when it came out. I enjoyed it when I had it, but I needed the money more so ended up getting a refund. The experience will depend on your skills I guess. I started on Hard and didn't find many problems, but if you start on Medium or lower then you've got at least three difficulties to work through, plenty of game time to be had there.
 
Bought this a week or so ago. It's actually very, very good. Much better music than I thought it would have - get it on a good system and it's pretty thrilling stuff when you get the songs going (and keep them going!)!

Deffo worth a punt at that price. Same price I paid.
 
Thats what I was wondering Chris1712 - effectively cost me £45 after using my points...

Just wondering if its a fad as Ive got none of the other Hero/Band stuff yet I like that kinda music. This just seems to push my buttons for some unknown reason...

Blargh the service from the competitor seems to suck ***. Ordered at 12 midday, STILL not despatched. So much for 'Express Delivery' and having something to do at the weekend :mad:.

Seems you can already get it for £59.99 at big high street store....54.99 if you use an online code.

TBH I think i'm going to wait to its more around the £40 now :)

Already being content with what I have, there's nothing I need or really want, but I do like having something to unwrap and play with on Christmas Day like the big kid I am. :D

So this is on my mind. How exactly does it work? Is it just the same as Guitar Hero? Is there a link to a full track listing?

Mate, this would be a great gift to receive.....damn I'd love a copy for Christmas. Perfect novelty gift.

Last year I got guitar hero and was up at 6am (woken by my little girl) and just went down stairs in my pants to rock out....that's what Christmas is all about.

I'm thinking Rock Band 2 would be better though. Possibly more of my kind of music available but I can't find a version that comes with just a guitar other than the Beatles version which I'm not interested in.

Pretty diverse track list - also seems more fun than the guitar/band stuff thats already out there IMO

Is there any other games in the pipeline that will use the controller?

Girlfriend has got me this for christmas and I can't wait to give it a go :D Just wondering if there are any other games out/coming out that utilise the deck.

Also how are people holding it up if they don't have the renegade edition table?
 
Aside from the obvious, I hope they do a better cross over than just the odd guitar track, though I own the GH series on Wii and not the PS3 (which I have DJH for)!

Missus loves this. She's especially impressed with the David Guetta track pack released a couple of weeks back.

Kyle: I either use the footstool (pouffe? :p) or can play happily on my lap. Easier on the footstool however.
 
Thanks Syph was thinking that a footstool might do the job. Can't wait to give it a blast at Christmas. Wish the missus would let me test it out now though :(
