Ilife 09, is it worth upgrading to from 08?

If you're a reasonably heavy user of iPhoto, iMovie or Garageband then 100% yes. iWeb is better than last year's too, iDVD's the same and it's still ****

iPhoto, iMovie and Garageband are all very big improvements in my opinion, especially iMovie.

My wife uses it a lot (esp iphoto and imovie) and has mentioned about upgrading but I wasnt sure if it was worth it or not.

If you can I'd hold on a bit. Every release of iLife bar '08 (which was sorta iLife '07/'08) has come out in January! This has been going on since 2003 (with iLife '08 being the exception - came out in August '07). Might be worth waiting so you don't end up buying '09 now and then have '10 come out in a month

Ah... thanks for telling me that, yeah I will have a wee look see if i can find anything about that as yeah may as well go for the latest one if there is a newer one coming out very soon
