rage against the x-factor - Outcome: RATM is the Christmas Number One!

I think it would be good just to prove to all these future contestants that winning the x-factor alone shouldn't be enough to get them a number 1. If the winner then goes on to make another single that gets to number 1, then fair play, but they shouldn't get it just because of a game show.

I bought a copy on itunes and one on play :) Gave a fiver to a homeless person though rather than a charity. Hopefully the homeless man can get a nice xmas hit now :)
 
Bought a copy from play for the lulz but for all the people that are buying it more than once I have read that if you buy it from more than one place and from the same computer and email address it wont be counted?

Great post however if all the sheep get RATM to number one I will publicly apologise on here in big letters.

Now next year let's try and get a proper christmas single to number one - Slade.

I think it's enough that such a large impression has been made on the industry. Agreed it won't have the impression that it should have unless it hit's #1 but it's certainly made a statement.

As for Slade, I'm a bit meh about that. I think that the current musicians should be making more of an effort to make decent christmas songs rather than dredging them up from 25 years ago.
 
Bought it, two copies in fact by mistake haha. I'm doing it because having heard the Xfactor song thats gonig for Number 1, its absolute tosh. The guy singing has no character to his voice, its dull and sounds exactly like thousands of other singers. At least Leona Lewis has a distinctive voice!
