None of them are ginger!

The kids are all fair haired and the mother could be anything as she's used one of those "natural colour" hair dyes that are redder than Santa's sled!!
 
So because they found it offensive this means they dont have a sense of humour, replace ginger with Jewish or black and then tell the people complaining that they dont have a sense of humour. No matter how you try to justify it, its still ignorant and offensive.

I laughed and im a ginge. Some people are too sensitive. How the hell did we manage to get through the blitz ? We wouldnt be able to cope these days.

You're right, these days we wouldn't be allowed to have black outs at night, they'd have to be called something else so a not to offend!!

It's kinda obviously not the same is it?

Correct me if I'm wrong but ginger people were not used as slaves and denied the same rights as the rest of society until only recently, nor were they rounded up into camps and gassed in their millions just 60 odd years ago. They aren't the victims of anything but the odd joke.

Gingers are merely the subject of light humour. It's much more similar to saying "God loves everyone. Including Liverpool fans."

No one would care about that would they?

what does it matter what happened to them before? unless you reference that :confused: its not like your saying Santa loves everyones even jews, lol the holocaust :rolleyes: also being a liverpool fan is a stupid comparison to make, one is a choice of football team another is a physical attribute you cannot change
 
Sounds like the mother has an inferiority complex. The majority of humour is based on laughing at some one - either real or hypothetical.
