...is there anyone here who can honestly say they don't love food?

because we would die without it. As such endorphins and other reactions happen when we eat, especially for high energy foods.

I used to but after breaking my jaw + having operation on it ive a lot of nerve damaged and my tastebuds have dulled down. Most things taste very similar to me now

:( that must suck will it come back once fully healed?

Dont know, ive been told if its not back within 2 years than chances are it wont come back. been about 9 months with no improvement. its the only thing ive not got used to, no feeling in the left side of my face and bottom lip doesnt bother me now but not being able to taste properly is just :(

Had a ½lb garlic burger for lunch, followed by a triple chocolate muffin and washed down with a thick chocolate milkshake. I'd be lying if I said it wasn't a slightly sexual experience. :o

Brilliant.

So why do we have this thing called cuisine?

Why go to a Michelin starred restaurant when you can just bung down raw vegetables and meat.

How have we come to cook our food, spice it, refine it, blend flavours together, decorate it etc. Why do we like to eat different food every day, why aren't we happy eating minced cow testicles every meal like dogs?

If we're conditioned to like what's good for us why do we enjoy food that's actually unhealthy and poor nutritionally?

It's often claimed that only a few animals actually enjoy sex, most simply do it out of instinct, why aren't we the same?
