GTX 380 & GTX 360 Pictured + Specs

Almost 16 gajillion bungholio *pro* marks.

N.B. The above result was obtained using Trolltech Advanced Beta drivers which use patented LessRender technology and application specific Haxxpro optimisations. All benchmarks are run at 512 x 384, 8-bit colour, low details, for MAXIMUM SCOARZZ!!!111

LOL :D

Probably...

I do wish people wouldn't buy 2x 295GTX tho... the lack of VRAM on them means they are useless at the resolutions where those 4 cores could be brought to bare... and at lower resolutions you simply don't need anything beyond a single 295GTX.

If all you do is snipe at one another (funny comments aside) then this topic will get closed and the 'old bertha' the ban hammer might be used. Please keep to the wild speculation of the topic.

And through in the fact that I have seen 4 cores perform worse than 3 cores in some games plus you need a beast of a psu to run them and you need an i7 running at 5Ghz+ to not be cpu limited and it gets even more pointless and a waste of money.

Apologies if already been posted ,

looks like its all garbage, as we all (well most of us) suspected...
This benchmarks are not fake.

NVIDIA's latest DirectX 11 compliant GPU architecture, codenamed "Fermi," is getting its first consumer graphics (desktop) implementation in the form of the GeForce GTX 300 series. The nomenclature turned from being obvious to clear, with a set of company slides being leaked to the media, carrying the GeForce GTX 300 series names for the two products expected to come out first: GeForce GTX 380, and GeForce GTX 360. The three slides in public domain as of now cover three specific game benchmarks, where the two graphics cards are pitted against AMD's Radeon HD 5870 and Radeon HD 5970, being part of the company's internal tests.

Nordichardware got in touch with Nvidia and it turns out the slides were the result of some rather simple photoshopping.

Should have just said they were real then, as they beating the 5's in those slides

Nvidia just aint got a clue have they, they release some slides showing the Fermi's looking good by beating the 5's, and then they say they fake when asked about them, erm wtf, your cards are looking good, they beating the 5's, why say they fake, do you not want people to wait for them, or buy them when they out or what. :p

Even Nvidia doesn't think people are stupid enough to believe one high end single-GPU card will best a high-end dual-GPU card from the same generation. How wrong they are.

You've clearly not learned enough cynicism when it comes to journalists svs22. ;)

Don't you think it would be a case of shooting themselves in the foot rather if they said the fake reports were accurate, but when the cards were released they didn't perform as well as the "leaked" data suggested?

Yeah, at the minute everyones going woot, not buying ATi now, waiting for these baby's, so now Nvidia are saying, no please don't, these are fake, just go ATi, as once our cards come out with the real benchies, you'll see were slower than ATi's :D

I did have 1 GTX295 (which owns that crap you have), I have 2xGTX295's now. Any other questions ? As I have nVidia, I take it I'll be accused as fanboy ?
yes, you do have a better card than me. doesn't make mine crap though. it performs perfectly well in all the games I play at 1920x1200 8xAA. just because I don't spend all my available money on cards doesn't mean I can't afford them. I can afford 2 5970s if I really want to buy them, but it's just a waste of money at the moment

Apparently you have 2x295's..enough said.:o

I'm on an nVidia thread, where the topic is the next gen cards. Your an ATI fanboy, that owns an ATI card, trolling an nVidia thread that really shouldnt apply to you. Yet your sitting there waiting for someone to mention the word nVidia so you can shout troll. I pick my kid up from day care and there's more maturity from those other 3 year olds.

Bye then, you look a complete troll

who acts like a child now? hmmmmm, really can't be done with trolls like this, I'm going to follow my own advice and ignore.;)

Haha, this guy is comedy gold! :D What is it with the influx of morons on the forums lately?

And email alerts don't miss ninja edits - calling me an ATI troll when I have 4 nVidia cards in the house is pretty r-e-t-a-r-d-e-d.

You're right, I shouldnt have said that about your card(s) and I have no doubt you can afford 2 5970's. After all you have an i7, oh wait a min, you have an x4

What's wrong with the x4?

I can easily afford an i7 system, but at the time I found they run to hot and I went for a cheaper solution that performs only slightly slower at high resolutions.

I fail to see how someone's cpu would determine if they can afford a graphics card.

Maybe he just doesn't have a need for an i7 system and would rather spend his money on something else.
