doubt cd sales will make much difference, who buys singles on cd other than old people? thank goodness woolies has shut down so all the fools dont know where to buy it from.

Er... according to the latest official figures released this morning Rage Against The Machine has a good ~10% lead on the X Factor single?Pretty much everyone who is attemping to get this to number 1 has already bought it, and it only reached number 2. X Factor is number 1 alone on downloads, not even in stores yet. It will sell triple what it already has on the weekend alone.

the cd sales arent included yet. they will still probably win because i reckon most x factor single buyers will buy it next week
McElderry's song was only released digitally after his victory in the X Factor final at midnight on Sunday, giving it less time to rack up sales for this week's chart than Rage Against The Machine.
This is the sort of cause I feel obliged to support.
Whilst Amazon is 70p cheaper, I went with Itunes because then I know I have helped the cause, not just put money into Sonys pockets
