Can you buy Alcohol in Tesco 24/7?

God save tescos from ever loosing there 24hr license in some select stores!

The people you meet early morning in there are somtimes crazy / scary lol

You guys are lucky to have 24hr supermarkets there :(. I don't have any here, that's one of the few things I like in Poland compared to here when I'm there, they have 24/7 Tesco's, I can get in my car and take a 5 min drive at any time to get some snacks/booze/whatever unlike here in Holland :(. Hell, the stupid Christian government makes an issue of stores opening on sundays outside of tourist locations, let alone them being open 24/7...

All supermarkets here are rather small scale and crap.
An ''XXL'' supermarket here is about the size of a French/English/Polish normal sized Tesco/Carrefour/etc... I want a good supermarket like Tesco here too :(.

Heading over to Tesco after 1am is a surreal experience - can't imagine permanently working night-shifts, i'd just live in delirium with the nutjobs that usually frequent the planet at that time.

My local tesco stop selling booze at 10pm. Luckily I know the code on the self service as I saw them type it in when the flashing card thing wasn't working so I can get booze whenever I want. Only done it once though, don't really want to get banned from the store lol.

I cant see the above actually working though because dont they always have someone watching at the self service area and surely they wouldnt allow you to buy it even if you knew the "secret code"

Yer, if there is a person there then it doesn't work. When i managed it, the person was helping someone else work there machine as it had broken.

It's why i wouldn't do it again. Was probably quite lucky not to get caught.

Also call BS on this. I worked there for 5years, you couldn't buy anything past its time, code or no code. Unless you got in before it switched

Thats me :(.

I like shopping at around half 3 in the morning ay Asda. Its quiet, you have the pick of routes, the only downside is having to slalom your way around the mess!
My brother works nothing but nights in Asda and loves it.
Surprising how many people actually shop at the same time tbh!

And Asda are open 24 hours around here, but stop selling alcohol between 11 and 6.

It just comes up on the screen as age restricted product. You click the cashiers button type in the user number and password, then click age id not required. Pay and leave.
