Right, that's a copy from www.play.com and one from www.amazon.co.uk.

For the sake of 29p from Amazon if I buy 1 more copy per day for the next few days will it count or be discounted as a bulk buy?

Totally ironic considering how its not X-Factor that's killing new and upcoming talent, its all the people not paying for any music that's causing the real damage.

By the way, I download illegally sometimes and get music copied for me for free but I cba to justify it. It is what it is, stealing.

No it's piracy.
Theft has to be a physical item. Thus a bunch of 0s and 1s is not physical and as such it is not theft.
