rage against the x-factor - Outcome: RATM is the Christmas Number One!

Lol, going by the standards of music in the charts these days I reckon this could get to number one some time if someone made a FB group.

I vote perma for Viper².

"More than 1,000 fans braved the wintry conditions to queue outside Joe's home town HMV in South Shields from early this morning in the hope of meeting the X Factor star."

what kind of people do this? is it just people like our mums and dads with their children? or are they some sort of bi product from a failed 60's biological experiment , that hoped to fuse a human brain on the body of a makak monkey?

I'm going to assume, in your circumstances, that he's pointing at a mirror.

There's no other way really.

Good day to you, sir.

Your sharp wit is enthralling. How does someone from Liverpool gain such an attribute?

I'm leaving this thread now anyway. 16 pages of absolute ****.

Zane Lowe started his show off tonight with this song (I think so, I'd just got in the car so maybe not :p). Apparently Radio 1 are paying the full "unedited" (sweary) version on Nick Grimshaw's show tonight after 10pm.

It isn't a very good song though. I wouldn't disgrace radiohead by buying it. They openly say they hate that era and the most of the songs they made.

Why is this song 29p on Amazon, and 99p on iTunes? Am I missing something? I assume chart data is taken from both?

I am not very up on the Top 40 :p

(Apologies if this has already been mentioned in the thread).

That's the point I was making :p

I love that song and it's video because it's so bad.

Killing in the name of is a classic though! Almost everyone that isn't stuck in one genre of music (apart from rock{because obviously the song is in the rock category}) has heard of it!

Amazon are trying to outprice the other online MP3 download services. They are currently making a loss on the lowest-priced tracks.

Oh and iTunes instantly increased the price of Killing in the Name by 20p once people started buying it last week - the rest of the songs on the album are still 79p...

I can't stand people who are just stuck in one genre of music, for the most part, they're just posers and I refuse to believe that they're listening to it for any reason other than they feel it's what music the type of person they feel they are, listens to.

For example, I know A LOT of people who are either "black" hang around with a lot of "black" people, or who think they are black, think that "rap" is the type of music that they listen to, being "black" and all, anything outside of what they deem as "black" music is "goth/white" music if it contains distortion/overdriven guitars (even if it's blues) or "chav" music if it contains any synthesised sounds.

Yup, i listen to dnb, trance, dubstep, rock, pop, blues, oldie stuff, glamrock, classical. When my mate asked what sort of music i was into, i said 'pretty much everything but metal/goth stuff'. He laughed and said 'everything? yeh right'. I gave him my ipod, he flicked through the artists and then replied with 'weirdo, why do you like everything but metal?' to which i replied 'the spoken word isn't harmonic with the music.'

There ya go, life story ;)
