**Burnout Paradise - £5 on EA Store**

You can tell that some are based on real ones, it doesn't really matter though.
You'll be too busy crashing in slow motion, or boosting through the air.

It's worth £24.99, I'd definitely get it for £5.

It's good for quick pick up and play blasts although I do sometimes enjoy messing about, finding signs, hidden routes, etc.

Great graphics, an OK soundtrack and fun gameplay.

It's a very good game. I played it quite a bit on my 360 and it brings back some really great memories. If it was available this cheaply on Steam then I'd pick it up without a second thought.

'Real' cars isn't much of a bother in this, it is far more about the crashing, jumps, stunts etc.

AFAIK mine is running at max (2x or 4x AA, cant remember) on a 3.4 Q9550 and GTX260, I reckon you'll be fine.

Does the VoucherCodes.com25% thing still work? I got it for £3.74 a few weeks back.

Yep it does. Just doing it now :D cheers.

However, i want to buy using PayPal, but when i select that radio button during the checkout and press next, it says;

We are unable to process your order. Please verify your information and try again.

Yeah that is an issue a lot of people have.

Keep trying.

If you can't get past it, email EA and they tend to be quite helpful, they gave someone on here a free game IIRC.

this game anygood with a g25? :P

me ea manager is filling up now with that 3 game offer from before :D

I use my G25 with this no problem, this is a truly brilliant game and well worth the measly price. You can spend hours just driving around the city stumbling across new races or taking down new cars to add to your collection. The Multiplayer side is quite good and theres plenty of variation and stats to keep you busy... buy it!

I got it last time it was a fiver on EA store, enjoyed it but I've pput it aside for now. I love the Burnout series - closest I've ever got to a racing game without a running start and a muddy boot - but I can't get into Paradise until I get a good gamepad or steering wheel, the latter being extremely unlikely, given my gaming preferences. Anyone recommend a good Xbox-style pad for PC, a little cheaper than the 360 pad for Windows?

That was probably me. :) This very game and problem in fact!

Yeah, keep trying (for every try an order number is created in your profile, so they can see if you're telling the truth) but if you find you keep getting "We are unable to process your order. Please verify your information and try again" then contact support.

You're trying to buy a game and give them money, after all. Don't worry about them sorting it before the sale ends. Worst case scenario they could process your order for the price you were trying to pay - best case scenario, which I experienced, is that they could give you the game free even though the price had reverted to £29.99.

When you're on the EA store site there's "Customer Service" at the top, the page to contact EA support is through there. Drop them a message describing your problem. It's also worth mentioning their site bandwidth too as it's slow as hell!

What happened with me is the response from support was unsatisfactory. I received a survey asking me to rate my experience, which I did poorly because it didn't resolve the issue. Then I got a response from EA escalated support, who asked me to describe my problem again. I did that, and next thing I knew he'd added the game free to my EA account.

Great way to treat genuine customers imo.

Well i emailed them 12 hours ago, got past the PayPal payment and back to the EA Store, completed the transaction and received the confirmation screen saying check your email for the confirmation code etc. Didn't receive an email. Checked my order history and it said awaiting payment even though it has gone through my PayPal.

5 minutes ago i received an automated email saying that the order was cancelled as no payment was received.

I have kept EA up to date by updating the ticket 4 times with extra information, the first being 12 hours ago. Not one reply yet from even though it is an international company.

Can see why people say to steer well clear of them.
