**Burnout Paradise - £5 on EA Store**

Still no reply for those who are interested in their customer service level

To be honest, it has still been less than 24 hours since your original issue, even Steam took about 4 days to respond to me last week, I think you're just going to have to wait a bit.

I have had Steam respond in a few hours every time i have had to contact them.
As i said, i wouldn't mind having them take up to 24 hours but seeing as the money has come out of my bank and i don't have the product and do not have any communications apart from to send my details (which they already have on the system) then i do exect a better level of service, yes.

And it has been 22hours now really as their only response was a waste of time/ bog standard.

There site dosen't even work just got to the paying bit clicked pay then got a ERROR
now the website wont even let me add the game to the basket

Server Error :(

I dunno, I think you're expecting too much, I can't remember the last time I had any company at all sort anything out within 24 hours.

edit - I just looked at my emails and my Steam Support question was only replied to after 5 days.

Really disappointing. Wanted to play this :( Don't know when i will be able to download it.

Edit: I do understand, but i have paid for it and if they even gave a response to acknowledge that they understand my issue and will sort it out, then that will be fine. Right now it just seems as though i am being ignored.

Edit 2: OK just refreshed and it says that the ticket was updated by EA, however, nothing has been written. I do not know if they think they are answering but it isn't working

Well the demo is the full game but time limited, so just download it anyway, then when you get the serial you can put it in to unlock the full game.

It's part of the advent calender thing isn't it? So another 2 hours I expect, it will be something else tomorrow.

I agree. I'd just sit tight and do something else in the meantime...

Also, don't know about you but I had messages forward to my email to save refreshing the site.

PayPal worked fine for me straight away. I'm downloading it at the moment. I've got it for the PS3 but though I would buy it for PC, especially at £3.75, why not. Does it have online play on PC?

Also, how will it run on my computer? My specs: E2180 @ 3GHz, 2GB DDR2 memory, Radeon HD 3850 256MB, Windows XP and I usually run games at 1440x900 because 1680x1050 is quite a stretch with only 256MB GPU memory. And I would like to have 2xAA if possible.

Thanks for your help.

Lucky you! It's bizarre why it didn't work for me originally and isn't working for others. I've never seen such a high rate of payment processing errors.

You'll probably be able to run on medium settings. You should be fine with 2xAA. And yup it has online mode.

I found that Win7 Pro (x64) wouldnt allow me to pay or d/l to run so I booted into XP (x86)and hey presto it all worked first time

I find this quite interesting. What OS is everyone who is having problems using? I have Win7 Home Premium (x64).

And i am just starting the demo download now :)

Was that directed at me?

No, you just managed to squeeze in a reply before me :p

I bought Crysis Warhead and Burnout a few weeks back with no issues on Windows 7 RC1 x64 (yes, i am lazy and will install my proper copies soon :p)

Usless pile of poo, tried about 10 diff configs of os and browser and they all failed (inc my iphone) written a strongly worded (but polite) to EA informing them how naff their store is.
