Hi everyone! First threat I've made EVER on this forum, but have been lurking a fair bit for a while.

So, I'm thinking of a getting a new computer chair, one for around £100 and nice and comfortable. It will have to be a swivel and adjustable one I think. So any suggestions on to where to look around?

Thanks for any advice. :)

Time and time again I have seen Ikea Markus suggested in that price range. It's £109 and would cost £15 to have it delivered. 92cm back - the highest I've seen, should be enough to lean back with your head supported even if you're well over 6'. Swivel, adjustable height, adjustable tilt. If you want things like adjustable armrest height, adjustable lumbar support, stuff like that, you're looking at more expensive chairs.

My strongest advice is to sit in any chair before deciding whether or not to buy it. I just wasted money not doing that - I bought a new chair last month and it's so totally unsuitable for me that I need to buy another new chair. It would be fine for someone about 6 inches shorter than me and I would have noticed the problem immediately if I had sat in it.

Check out viking-direct.co.uk some nice chairs on there ive seen a lot of ppl on the forums pearching their bums on :P .

Rather than make a new thread, I thought I was ask in this one... I have been using a cheapy £15 high back leather chair from Tescos for the last 2 years, and now I am looking for something a little softer.

I was looking at:

Then wondered what the difference was with:

What do people think of that chair?

They look identical.

Also a lot like mine, think I paid around that from Makro, no complaints about mine.
