Can you help me out which triple channel memory are the best one for my X58 board i7 2.66Ghz @ 4.00Ghz oc. The reason I want a new memory because of ram slots can be easy fitted when my new Noctua NH-D14 cpu cooler (to avoid block ram slots with my old memory is well too high) cos my old memory ram is Corsair Dominator 6GB as it will be a big problem with new cpu cooler had arrive next week.

Which one is best one:

or

Corsair XMS3 or OCZ Gold ?

I will promise to post back once I had the new triple channel rams with the new cpu cooler and see what temperature is like for i7 @ 4.00Ghz overclock with HT and turbo enabled with linpack.

Personally id go with the ocz gold, better stock timings and theyre cheaper on this week only deal.

Ah I see, so is it another UD5? If so I'd stick with what you know works. (Or whatever overclockers is sending out with their bundles at the moment (Because it will be good value and they have done the compatibility testing already.)

Edit: Oh and C8 is going to feel better than C9

No, it not another UD5 as it going to be new:
1) Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD7 Intel X58 (Socket 1366)
2) OCZ Gold 6GB (1600MHz) Tri-Channel memory
3) Corsair HX 850W ATX Modular SLI Compliant Power Supply
4) Gigabyte GeForce GTX 260 Super Overclock graphic card
5) Noctua NH-D14 cpu cooler
6) 2 x Crucial M225 64GB 2.5" SATA-II Solid State Hard Drive in RAID 0
7) Fractal Design Define R2 Midi Tower Case (black)
8) LG BH08LS20 8x Blu-Ray-RW/DVD±RW Dual Layer SATA Drive (black)
9) Intel i7 920do cpu processor (OEM)

What is wrong with your current 6G of OCZ ram?

because my OCZ ram is: OCZ DDR3 PC3-16000 Reaper Low-Voltage Triple Channel as it too high on memory ram slot to block the cpu cooler!

Here is my current ocz ram:

Using the reapers here myself bulldog, nice ram but it can take up a lot of space, liuckily i have no clearance issues with a TRUE should i ever upgrade to 12gb on my current p6t deluxe mobo. Btw, i see youve opted for the new gigabyte x58a ud7, sata 6gbps and usb 3.0, not many boards like theese out yet.
