I just wanted to comment on Zack The Man De La Rocha swearing on Radio 5, as a fan of Rage since the early 90's i would have been offended had Zack not done the full rendition!


Kudos to Rage.

Can the Radio 5 presenter who commented that they asked Rage not to swear not see the irony in the BBCs request and the context in which the swearing is used in 'Killing In The Name'? surely she isnt that naive.

i'm hoping for a Rage one off UK concert after all this publicity, they are the only band i really, really hope i see before i die or the world ends... which ever comes first.

Not that I'm a supporter of all this, I've made my opinions known, however, I have to admit, that YouTube video is very good. The Susan Boyle bit especially has been excellently done !!!!!!
 
Just loved the live performance on Radio 5.. I love that he cracked and swoke at the end.. he couldn't help it.. glad he did. The women at the end said to buy Joe's song.. Uhhh-Uhhh negative!

oh, i didn't realise linking a youtube video with a swear word is against forum rules... but anyway, i was just curios as to what link he removed, because funnily enough i didn't get to click it!

I was speaking to my mum today, she's like 60 odd, and she remembers me and my bro playing 'Killing In The Name' at full volume whenever we had arguments when we were young, i told her it may be xmas number one and as a matter of principal should be played all throughout the festive season, to my surprise she knew all about this, she didn't realise it was that song we played towards her all those years ago (she remember it!) but she told me to send her a link to where she could download a copy because she is sick to death of the x-factor ruining music - she went on to say something about some tune last year with Terry Wogan that should have been number one or something.

but i was very surprised that my 60 year old mother will be downloading Rage tonight!
