It's a bit different, it is steam cured and about 50% water as it is sold so is moist, for whatever reason it was banned in the majority of the EU.
Tests that have been carried out haven't found any conclusive links to cancer, not even mouth cancer!
I read somewhere that Sweden might push for the ban to be lifted so they can export it, they feel them not being able to isn't keeping with the spirit of EU trading, who knows if it'll ever change though.
