After Halo's, MW and MW2 what are the best co-operative games around please?

My son usually has a mate round after school and they play co-op or online stuff.

Rainbow 6 vegas 2 and army of 2 is worth a shot going on the games he has played

Thats of the top of my head there are plenty more good ones as well which i cannot remember .

Yes you can play offline split-screen.

Gears of war 1 & 2 I think are local co-op, Resident evil 5 is if they dont mind hte off centre split screen malarky

The Lego games! Great fun with a mate, Star Wars, Indy, Batman etc

Batman was probably my fave, completed it 1.5 times with my mate.

Although if they're young they'll probably shun it as a childish game in favour of "cooooooooool" violence.

Should add, despite saying it does on the box, Saints Row 2 DOES NOT have local co-op.

Best co-op I've played on my X360 so far has to be Borderlands, followed by Gears of War 1 and 2.

I don't see what's that bad about it, as long as one player doesn't care about role playing then you can play the entire game co-op, still quite fun.
