Why did he have 15 arms anyway, was it a mutation? I find it very unlikely that a mutation would cause a whole extra 13 arms to sprout. I guess it could be a new species that has not been seen before, but still I would have to see proof of such a species as on my experience it is rare for animals to have an odd number of arms/legs.

Further more the monkey must have been on the lowest branch possible on the tree to fall out of it, monkeys are excellent climbers and if not on the lowest branch would surely have managed to grab another branch on the way down.

I find your scenario flawed and unlikely.
