Just ordered a Logitech G25 .... now which games to get!

Hey guys I'v just ordered a Logitech G25 for xmas

Should be a lot of fun once I get some games for it

Which games on the PC take advantage of the gearbox and clutch? I would like to get a few games on the PC maybe some arcade racing games and 1 or 2 racing simulators.

Which games would you guys recommend

i'd say a good start would be nfs:shift and Dirt 2, wud get a lot of fun from them.

Burnout Paradise. Many believe it's not as good as previous burnouts, I can't comment as, while I own it, I'm not playing it until I get a decent controller for it. I'm also not a big fan of racing games which, as you bought a wheel, I'm guessing you are. However, it's real cheap right now (see thread) and the Burnout series has always delivered, so you might as well.

Need for Speed shift is superb, especially since the patch. You can also join in the fun at the Time Trial Championships

Or, NFS: Shift is decent. Only racing game i've played on PC and I thought it was good

OK, firstly I read your post carefully -- and you specifically stated that you wanted games that uses the G25 CLUTCH (amongst other things).

GAMES THEREFORE THAT ARE NO GOOD FOR YOU

Grid
Dirt
Dirt 2
any 'burnout' games
any 'GTA' games
As a general rule -- any 'arcade racers'
Any NFS games APART from NFS shift

Basically virtually nothing supports the clutch

Live for speed it good as you can stall and burn your clutch (In-game clutch

) while using the G25. It is more of a simulator but there are fun servers out there as well so it doesn’t have to be about the racing all of the time.

You get a demo of rfactor with the wheel so you can try that out, I would also suggest Live for speed and Dirt 2

Live For Speed, it has unlimited online demo play, full working manuel/gearbox, just perfect to test out your G25, if your struggling to get the game setup here is a full manuel which covers most of the game.

I received my G25 a few weeks back. It's really good, having loads of fun.

Dirt 2 - works great 'out of the box'
GTR2 - Pretty cool game
Rfactor (you can download the trial game and switch a file to play the full version

)
NFS Shift - needs configuring as theres something not quite right with the deadzone

I paid £120 for my G25, has gone up a lot from 2 weeks ago

I found that as well but since patch 1.2 it works perfectly with the stock settings
