I hate that the show is based purely on singing ability, you could be the greatest entertainer on the planet and they would just poo poo your ability to sing. Freddie Murcury wouldnt get through the xfactor. If the show was based on the ability to entertain, it would be a much more interesting show imo.

I bought a copy. Bought every version of Hallelujah last year too (except Burke's).

It really ****es me off that I see such talented, dedicated musicians, singers and songwriters playing the pub circuit year after year and X-Factor catapults karaoke acts to megastardom in the space of a few weeks.

Think next year there should be a campaign to get someone unsigned to take down the X-Factor single (if Cowell doesn't move on to something else).
