***Official DJ Hero Thread***

Just a tip I didn't pick up on when I first started. Have the buttons on the turntable on the 'inside' - as in, if you're right handed have the turntable on the right but the buttons on it positioned on the left of the deck. Use your thumb on the same hand to turn the table.

Make sense?

Might sound silly but when I first started I had the buttons on the right side of the turn table and it was a whole lot harder.

You have changed it in the options as well then right? Only it will set the buttons the right way on the screen for you.
 
Yeah I think the same. Then I think maybe it's the calibration (which seems to change every time I calibrate) or deck when I mess up. The xfade is hard and so are the cue points (notes) when there is 4 in a row right after each other like redredredred. It's the same as GH... but different lol. So it's nice to have a change. I like the tunes as well... though because they are the same but paired up with different ones it gets a bit boring after a while. I have 45 minute blasts and then play some pc games.

Same, I tried two songs in the store, played it on easy and then on hard, seemed fine to me. Is there even an equivalent of the rock meter? I didn't see one.
 
Personally Id check out the turntable and make sure its all ok - seems the QA on those decks arent brillant...

Bit of DJ Hero in between watching my Red Dwarf boxset whilst finally getting that crate of Kopparberg drunk. Will be the best Xmas ever. :D
 
Some of the mixes on this are fantastic. Loving Pijanoo and Shout and Pijanoo and Somebody Told Me.

Anyone know if this controller will work with the upcoming DJ game, Scratch: The Ultimate DJ?
