hey all,
bit of a long shot but I'm planning to head to Slimelight with a mate for New Year's Eve. It starts at 9 and goes on until the early hours of the morning. I'd imagine we'll get there for about 10ish.
I've noticed the Congestion Charge is off over the Christmas period, and I don't mind not drinking, so I was thinking of driving there and parking nearby. Park-up seems to think parking in bays is free, and parking on single yellows is free (according to their stupid icon based thing: http://www.park-up.com/Xmas 09 Parking.html) but I'm not convinced.
Question is, can any of you guys help? Is driving in London a bad idea on New Years Eve? Where can I park in Islington? Is it safe to? If it is too much, I'll just park up at a local train station and take advantage of free train travel
